News And Recent Additions

Greetings 109ers,

I hope this ride announcement finds everyone doing well. First, I need to thank Kyle & Marissa Baird, Sean Preschern, and Ted Snowden. For those of you who are not aware, during their weekend trip to Vandenburg AFB, Shirley Snowden hit some
sand/gravel and went down. Shirley is pretty cut up, bruised, sore and it still remains to be seen if she broke her elbow. It is no surprise, everybody stayed with Shirley and took great care of her. Making sure she got to the hospital safely, stayed
with her the entire time at the hospital and all finally got everybody back to the hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. Ted & Shirley’s daughter, Emily, drove up with a truck and picked up both Shirley and her bike. Everybody made it home safely on Sunday. A great job done by all and I know Shirley really appreciated everybody’s
efforts on her behalf. 109’ers again demonstrating why this is such a special and successful chapter.

This month’s ride will be through Bouquet Canyon and Lake Hughes area. Be prepared, as the first stop will be the lunch stop, and it approximately a 100 miles into the ride. I just wanted everyone to be aware the first leg is a bit longer than we normally plan. If needed we should be able to stop sooner if deemed necessary.

We will be meeting at Yamaha of Cucamonga. It is located at 9760 Foothill Blvd, cross street Archibald Ave. Please arrive between 8:00 - 8:30, meeting at 8:30 and KSU at 9:00. Please be sure to show up with a full tank of fuel. The estimated time everyone should be home is approximately 4:30PM.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
