Check out last years event HERE This Years Event: September 18, 2010 Debi's Ride is our Chapter Charity Event. Once a year we host a Poker Run in memory of our passed Chapter members. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Mariposas Foundation, which is closely associated with Kaiser Permanente’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Division. This foundation supports family members of children with various types of illness; lymphoma, leukemia, brain cancer, diabetes; the list is endless. Any serious illness can be devastating to family finances, and when it is your child, there is no price too high to pay. Many families go without simple things such as microwave ovens, computers, furniture, etc., so their young children can perhaps live another day; the Mariposas Foundation helps provide families with these simple items. Please help in our efforts to ease the burden of these stricken families - It could be any one of us at any given time. Thanks for your support of this worthy cause! |
